JuhlaDeco Rental Terms
1. General Terms
These rental terms apply to all rentals of decorations, props and party supplies offered by JuhlaDeco. By booking products, the customer accepts these terms and agrees to comply with them.
The rental service is intended for adults and businesses. All prices include applicable VAT. JuhlaDeco reserves the right to update prices and terms as needed.
2. Rental Products
Rental products are decorations intended for event and party use. As the products are in rental use, they may show normal signs of wear.
Products are inspected before rental. If the customer notices a defect, shortage or damage, it should be reported as soon as possible after the start of the rental.
Rented products must not be:
- modified, repaired or painted without the renter's permission
- rented or transferred to a third party
- used for purposes other than agreed
Most products are intended for indoor use unless otherwise stated.
3. Rental Period
The normal rental period is a maximum of 4 days, unless otherwise agreed at the time of booking. Pickup and return times are agreed separately with the customer.
If the return of products is delayed from the agreed time, the customer may be charged additional rent or a new rental period.
4. Pickup and Return
Products are picked up and returned at the agreed location and time.
The customer is responsible for:
- checking the condition of products at pickup
- transporting products safely
- returning products in their original packaging
Returned products must be:
- intact
- clean and dry
- packed the same way as at pickup
If products are returned dirty, wet or improperly packed, the customer may be charged cleaning or handling fees.
5. Booking and Payment
Rentals can be made through the website, by email or other agreed method.
A booking is considered confirmed when the customer has accepted the offer and paid the agreed payment.
The total amount must be paid before the rental period begins, unless otherwise agreed.
6. Cancellation Policy
A booking can be cancelled in writing.
Cancellation terms:
- Cancellations made in good time may be refunded as agreed.
- Cancellations made close to the rental date may not be refunded.
Any specially ordered or customised products for the customer will be charged even if the booking is cancelled.
7. Product Liability
The customer is responsible for rented products throughout the rental period, including transport, use and storage.
If products are:
- broken
- lost
- damaged
the customer may be charged for repair or replacement costs.
8. Additional Services
Any additional services such as delivery, decoration or venue setup are agreed separately. Separate terms may apply to these services.
9. Force Majeure
JuhlaDeco is not liable for situations where service delivery is prevented by reasons beyond the company's control, such as natural phenomena, transport problems or other similar exceptional events.
10. Disputes
Any disputes will primarily be resolved through negotiation between the parties. If necessary, the matter will be handled in a competent court in accordance with Finnish law.
